It’s a lot of work prepping for a craft fair but I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get started. This is an opportunity for vendors (including me) to show off and sell our handmade goods. It’s also an opportunity to talk about and demonstrate what I love to do, design diaper cakes. In May I participated in two separate events. Lankenua’s Spring Craft Fair, and Enon Tabernacle’s Spring Fest.

It’s all in the planning. I had a list for everything. On my chalkboard I listed the diaper cakes I wanted to design. I had a notebook with a list of supplies I would need to take like my banner, order forms, business cards, table cloth, etc. A list for things I needed to purchase like a pop-up tent because I was outside for one of the fairs. Best purchase I made all summer.

So if you get the chance to participate in a craft fair, take it!
